It was Epic & Brutal, 33km including 13 km's of sand and dunes,with a very exciting start. 849 athletes on the start line including 130 females. Helicopters flying low and coverage on Eurosport!
Sand dunes are brutal, took 3 hrs 30 to get through. The heat is not too bad today but still very warm.
It's a huge adventure and hope it goes ok, blister issues have seen me tonight to the doctor. 38 km tomorrow lets hope the feet are better tomorrow!
